Introduction

In the early 1990s a consortium of major industrialists from the power generation, steel, oil, gas and chemical industries recognised the need to train their contractors on basic safety.
The result was the HSE recognized and endorsed CCNSG Safety Passport, which ensures that all site personnel have a national accreditation of their basic understanding and knowledge of health and safety.

Aims & Objectives

The aims and objectives of the CCNSG Safety Passport is to ensure a basic knowledge of health and safety for all site personnel to enable them, to work on site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others.

Who should attend?

The CCNSG Renewal Course is designed as a one day refresher course for those who have already passed the CCNSG National Course. This has to be taken within three months of the Safety passport expiry date.
